Inventory Operations Associate

Job Summary of Inventory Operations Associate:

Maintaining correct inventory records, making sure stock levels are properly controlled, and assisting with effective warehouse operations are the duties of an Inventory Operations Associate. In order to preserve inventory correctness, this position entails keeping an eye on incoming and outgoing inventory and performing routine stock audits and inconsistencies.

Responsibilities for Inventory Operations Associate:

• Aids in preventing and rectifying inventory inconsistencies.
• Champion a secure work environment by actively participating in safety initiatives. Identify and report any safety concerns to maintain a hazard free workplace.
• Ensure consistent inventory assessments through scheduled cycle counts and periodic full inventory reconciliations
• Present the record count results and deviations detected. Deliver the count findings to Management or the Customer as appropriate.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies by investigating customer claims, conducting cycle counts to find missing products, making adjustments to inventory quantities, printing labels, managing damaged goods, and properly disposing of inventory.
• Participate in special projects to meet the needs of customers and cater to their individual demands by providing assistance and support as required.
• Assessment of operational errors affecting inventory performance.
• Additional duties related to inventory may be assigned at the request of supervisors.

Qualification for Inventory Operations Associate:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus one to three years office experience or equivalent training and experience.
• Experienced with AS/400 and Microsoft Office, including Word and Exce

• Ability to work in fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Physical Requirements for Inventory Operations Associate:

• Requires the ability to sit for long periods of time, with frequent interruption so Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, and reaching, or bending
• Skillful handling of manual tasks with precise hand and finger movements is vital for everyday office responsibilities. Effective verbal interaction, auditory awareness, and visual perception are essential for completing assigned tasks
• Traveling for work might entail using automobiles and airplanes for transportation
• Consider a visit to facilities where operations occur in below freezing temperatures
• May move items relevant to travel and occasionally lifts, moves, positions, or transports objects that weigh no more than 20 pounds
• Necessitates the aptitude for connecting with others on a deeper level than just providing or receiving directives
• It is important to engage with colleagues in a balanced manner, refraining from extreme behaviors
