Job Summary of Warehouse Cleaning Technician:

Maintaining order, cleanliness, and safety precautions in a warehouse setting are among the responsibilities of a Warehouse Cleaning Technician. In order to support the smooth operation of warehouse activities, this role entails keeping work areas, storage areas, and other common areas within the warehouse clean.

Responsibilities for Warehouse Cleaning Technician:

• Responsibilities of the Janitor include ensuring that office buildings, break rooms, bathrooms, yards/grounds, parking lots, warehouses, and dock areas are maintained in a clean and organized manner, following supervision guidelines.
• Maintains sanitation standards in the work environment.
• Complete demanding cleaning tasks such as vacuuming floors, deep cleaning carpets, wiping down walls and windows, and disposing of refuse.
• Carry out regular maintenance tasks and eliminate any clutter or debris from the area, signaling management about necessary repairs. Confirming the functionality of pest control systems and notifying superiors about any issues is also within the scope of responsibilities.
• Keep pedestrian walkways and parking lots clear of ice and snow as the weather demands.
• Follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents and promote a secure workplace atmosphere.
• Bring to the attention of the shift supervisor any unsafe situations that need to be addressed.
• Abide by the standards specified by OSHA.
• Comply with the Company's safety protocols at the workplace.
• The job may entail the cleaning and sweeping of trailers and railcars on a regular basis.
• Execute miscellaneous tasks as assigned, individuals may need to perform various duties outside their usual tasks when called upon.

Qualification for Warehouse Cleaning Technician:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or at least one year related work experience.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.o Ability to solve routine problems.
• Ability to understand and follow all safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagrams.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipmento Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicalso Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and janitorial techniques
• Ability to work independently
• May work overtime, evenings, or weekends in order to complete work or to attend meetings, as directed and authorized by management
• Must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions: they must get along with co-workers without exhibiting behavioral extremes; perform work activities requiring reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to criticism from a supervisor.
• May be required to use cleaning equipment such as steamers, floor scrubbers and carpet cleaners.

Physical Requirements for Warehouse Cleaning Technician:

• In the process of fulfilling the fundamental job requirements, the employee will frequently be required to use their hands for object manipulation, converse or listen, stand, move around, and stretch their arms to reach objects.
• The associate's duties may involve periods of sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and even using their sense of taste or smell.
• The associate faces consistent exposure to intense cold temperatures. The noise level within the warehouse is commonly at a moderate level.
