Job Summary of Warehouse Stock Associate:

An Warehouse Stock Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels are appropriately managed, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This role involves monitoring incoming and outgoing inventory, conducting regular stock audits discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities for Warehouse Stock Associate:

  • Aids in thwarting and addressing inventory discrepancies.
  • Promote a safety conscious workplace by taking personal responsibility for identifying and reporting safety concerns promptly.
  • Implement regular inventory assessments, involving both selective cycle counts and detailed physical inventory examinations
  • Detail the count results and discrepancies observed. Provide information to Management and/or the Customer based on the count outcomes.
  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, such as investigating customer claims, conducting cycle counts for missing products, adjusting inventory levels, printing labels, managing damaged inventory, and appropriately disposing of inventory.
  • Engage in unique projects and fulfill customer specific tasks to deliver exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Overview of operational glitches impacting inventory functionality.

Qualification for Warehouse Stock Associate:

  • The position calls for a high school diploma or GED, along with one to three years of office experience or similar training and experience.
  • Experienced in AS/400 operations and familiar with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
  • A forklift permit could be the key to setting yourself apart from other potential candidates
  • Capacity to succeed in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting timelines.
  • Capability to handle arithmetic tasks involving whole numbers, fractions, and decimals by applying addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Physical Requirements for Warehouse Stock Associate:

  • Requires the ability to sit for long periods of time, with frequent interruption so Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, and reaching, or bending
  • Proficiency in manual dexterity with consistent hand and finger movements is required for routine office duties. Clear verbal communication, auditory recognition, and visual observation are fundamental in carrying out designated tasks
