Distribution Associate

Job Summary of Distribution Associate:

The Distribution Associate is tasked with the responsibility of preparing, packaging, and shipping products efficiently to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. This position involves coordinating with warehouse teams, managing inventory records, and adhering to shipping procedures to fulfill both company and customer requirements.

Responsibilities for Distribution Associate:

• Assigned to accurately load and unload trailers, verify route load contents, maintain trailer reports, and manage the shipping yard's operations.
• Monitor product quantities for correctness and quality assurance, keep detailed records, alert authorities about any inventory discrepancies, and actively participate in conducting cycle counts as required.
• Perform tasks involving the use of material handling machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Diagnose and fix problems with equipment used in the packaging process, such as labelers, tape dispensers, and palletizing devices.

Qualification foor Distribution Associate:

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• 1-3 Years of shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment.Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work Nights, Weekends and Holidays.
